In Kharkiv Oblast on October 13, an unknown person opened fire with automatic weapons and killed five servicemen of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. According to the acting head of the regional police in a comment to hromadske, the shooter turned out to be a Russian who had escaped from captivity. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
